Synopsis:
Hêlîn, Selin, Firat und Serhat sind Geschwister, aufgewachsen in einem Dorf in der Zentralschweiz. Aus ihrem Elternhaus tragen sie das Wohnzimmer in die Öffentlichkeit: Zuerst den bunten Teppich, dann das Sofa, schließlich den heißen Çay. Eine neue Geschichte entsteht, in der Wut und Widerständigkeit unbefangen neben Fremdsein und Ohnmacht Platz nehmen.

Biografie:
Selin Besili lebt und arbeitet als Filmemacherin und Drehbuchautorin in Zürich. 2016 schloss sie den Gestalterischen Vorkurs an der Zürcher Hochschule der Künste ab, 2024 ihren Bachelor in Video mit Vertiefung Dokumentarfilmregie an der Hochschule Luzern, Design Film Kunst. Seit 2022 ist sie Teil des Organisationskomitees des Nachwuchs-Filmfestivals Upcoming Filmmakers in Luzern, unter anderem Teil des Filmauswahlteams.
